In order for us to preserve the ancient geology, pristine environment and conserve the animals and plants which make these trails so special, we ask you to please take note of the following when enjoying the Magaliesberg which is a protected area.
Please sign the mountain register and pay trail fees at reception on arrival Please sign out once you have returned from the mountains, also at reception Hikers must keep to the demarcated routes. Do not climb up or down the Cliffs or Kranzes Take only photo's leave only footprints Please bring all litter including tissues, orange and banana peels & cigarette butts back down with you Defacing of rocks or trees is forbidden. No animals, reptiles, birds or plants may be disturbed Do not feed any animals or leave any food scraps behind No fires are allowed Fires are a genuine hazard to all life co-existing in this conservancy area, please be careful when smoking. No camping other than at the campsite Fire arms are strictly prohibited. No alcohol may be brought onto the property No pets are allowed. No radio cassette players are allowed We have toilets at the base of the trails, if nature calls while you are too far away, please be kind enough to find a spot at least 50 meters from the trail and bury anything you may have to leave behind.
